This is a very nice original photo of what I believe to be African American baseball player Robert Bissant while he was in either high school (most likely) or college. It was part of photos from a Memphis TN family. The photo measures approximately just under 4 x 3 inches. Robert played as a middle infielder from 1934 to 1946. He was a member of many African American pro and semipro teams including: The New Orleans Crescent City Stars, Zulu Cannibal Giants (1935-39), Black House Of David, Miami Ethiopian Clowns (1938), Nashville Cubs (1940), New Orleans Black Pelicans (1941-45) and the Portland Rosebuds..
