Rather scarce pamphlet entitled “ Compilation Of Georgia Laws and Opinions of the Attorney General Relating to Segregation of the Races- Eugene Cook, The Attorney General State of Georgia”. Apparently the first complete gathering of statutes governing the segregation of races in Georgia. Includes pretty much any topic including those on marriages, births, transportation, trespassing and even the tax exemptions of schools. Eugene Cook served as the Attorney General for Georgia from 1945 to 1965 and also as a Justice on the Georgia Supreme Court. He believed the NAACP to be a Communist organization. Despondent after his wife's death, Cook died of a self inflicted gunshot wound while still serving on the court. Measures 4” x 9”, and contains 93 printed pages. Careful shipping 6.00
