1917 REAL PHOTO UNCLE TOM POSTCARD WITH #51. INCLUDES COPY OF HARDCOVERED BOOK
This is a postcard of "Uncle Tom" postmarked Mar. 5, 1917 in what appears to be Florida. The number "51." appears next to Uncle Tom indicating this issue may have been part of a series. It is a real photo postcard but keep in mind that the book "Uncle Tom's Cabin" was written in 1850 by Harriet Beecher Stowe. I found this postcard in a copy of that book several years ago. I will send the book along to the purchaser of this postcard. This undated hardcovered book (467 pages published by David McKay} is a reading copy with a loose binding and 2 loose pages.
