An Antique woodcut etching print titled in Dutch "Gevecht met de eilanders op Bammbire" ("Battle with the Islanders on Bammbire"). This Dutch woodcut dates from 1882. It depicts a battle between the Dutch Colonizers and the Africans on the Island of Bammbire. It is taken from the book titled “The Earth and her Nations”. The paper has Dutch text on the back and is in very good antique condition with slight age coloring and as seen in the pics. What a great find for the vintage and antique art collector! Measurement (Approx.): Leaf 8” x 11.9” (21 x 30 cm), paper etching 6” x 9” (16 x 24.0 cm) Hallmark: None ca. 1882 Weight (Approx.) 0.0 Condition: Very good antique condition with slight age coloring and age spots and as seen in the pics.
