Two 1960s Photos Five Black African American Children W/Bonnie Boswell Chicago
For sale is a pair of original vintage photos of African American children that are believed to include award-winning filmmaker Bonnie Boswell. The photos were found in a scrapbook in Louisville, Kentucky. They are identified on the back, and I believe they may have been taken at the University of Chicago Laboratory School around 1960. The girl in the plaid dress in each photo is identified as Bonnie Boswell, who spent her childhood in Kentucky and then Chicago. The other children are identified as Judy Jackson, Marva Spanding (sp), Lydia Hearn, Tony Sissac (or Sessac), William Jackson and Edward (no last name). Each black-and-white photo measures 8 by 10 inches and is in very good condition, with light creasing. See my listings for other vintage items, including more photos from the same family scrapbook.
